Everybody Hurts......Sometimes

You may remember a song back in the late 80s if I'm not mistaken....Everybody Hurts by R.E.M. If you haven't heard it, you should go check it out.

Anyway, are you hurting? I think we all have our way of dealing with the hurt in our lives. I , as most people know, tend to be pissed most of my life. What people don't know is that I am in a great mood most of the time...just seems like people around you tend to be on edge and never happy with their lives.

I'll be one of the first to admit that I get frustrated with the people around me on a daily basis. I'm married to a holy-roller which I am not. I have a pre-teen...nuff said. I work over 65 hours a week. I'm freaking exhausted. I have lots of shit that pisses me off.

My question though....are you hurting? What makes u feel this way? Who is the source of the hurt? Why do u allow it?

I don't offer the best advice in the world but I offer u what works for me. I have become great at ignoring most people. I don't let them know that they are bothering me. The down side is all the tension has to come out at some point. That's when u look like an asshole to people. They tend to forget all the shit they've done to push u this far.

I hurt....sometimes. I am confident in my beliefs and my actions. It hurts when others don't respect my views and what to impose their views on me. I don't need your brighter side of life as I think mine is just as good if not better. Change your surroundings. Don't allow someone to try to rule your life. Life is too short to not enjoy it. Live life to the fullest. There's no room for hurt....well, sometimes.
I find it funny how people categorize themselves as "Christian-Other". Then you look on their page and you see some of the most aweful things considering they are "christian".

I was looking at one of my new "friends" (haha) on my list and noticed that she was "Christian-Other". Little strange though how she advertises herself as a local Hooters girl and displays her body in her little Hooters outfit. I'm likely to run into this person at some point since they live so close by, but you guys all know that I really don't give a damn.

Anyway, I just found this interesting and thought that I would share. Please, remember, that if you choose that path in life, please be respectful to the others that call themselves "christians". By classifying yourselves as a "christian", you are simply a mockery to the name and make people such as myself laugh inside (and sometimes out loud).

Brown Nosing Can Cause A Stink

Who likes this guy???????? You know the guy........the guy or girl at work that tries to be in
the spotlight all the time. The brown-noser, the betrayer, the jerk-off......and many other titles.
I hate the guys that try to act like they know it all in front of management. When the boss leaves,
they don't know what the hell they are doing. Or the guy that wants to do everything and
not ask for help. That seems petty, Mike. Nope, not when he/she is doing it just so they
can get all the credit and say "Hey somebody important look at what I did". But the whatever they
did be a disaster and they start looking for someone to blame it on.
This happened tonight with me. A misunderstanding was made between myself and another person.
When I was asked what happened, I simply said that we must have miscommunicated. No biggie.
It wasn't a major deal, they just wanted to know what went wrong. When he was asked, he said
that I approved the situation. Like hell! I put him in front of five people and questioned
him about his answer and he said that we had miscommunicated. WOW! Easy shit when you are
faced with the person you are trying to blame it on.
When it was the two of us later tonight, I chewed him out about the fact that I don't
take that type of crap off no one; especially on the job.
So, next time that certain someone at work thinks about kissing ass or throwing you under the bus,
put him in his/her place.
